You’re sitting in your cockpit, eyes half-closed as you scroll through updates on your holopad. Most of it is the usual Outer Rim news: smuggler busts, mining disputes, the occasional bounty announcement. But one broadcast catches your attention.
The holopad screen flickers as the broadcast begins. The announcer, a slick-looking Bothan with a serious expression, leans forward as he speaks:
"This just in from the Lothal system: reports of an unusual Dathomirian traveler, believed to be a Nightsister by the name of Vveva. Spotted on the Outer Rim, this figure has been moving from port to port asking about relics tied to Dathomirian culture. It’s rare to see a Nightsister this far from her homeworld, let alone one traveling alone."
A grainy image flashes onto the screen. The quality isn’t great, but you can make out her silhouette, tall and solitary, moving through a shadowy docking bay. The announcer’s voice continues, laced with a cautious edge.
"Sources say she’s been searching for ancient amulets, artifacts connected to her bloodline. So far, she’s kept to herself, but witnesses describe her presence as... intimidating. If you’re planning to cross paths with this Nightsister, take heed. She may be working on something personal, and the Nightsisters aren’t known for being open with strangers."
The screen flickers back to the Bothan, who adds a final note, almost as if he’s offering you a challenge:
"For those of you who are the adventurous type, it’s said she’s moving along the Rim. But remember: if you approach, Nightsisters don’t respond well to curiosity alone. Local authorities are attempting to apprehend the Nightsister for questioning. If seen, proceed with caution. Do not approach, contact local authorities immediately."
The broadcast ends, but the curiosity sticks with you. You know where she’s been, and with a little digging, you could find where she might be heading next. A Nightsister out here is rare enough, but one seeking lost relics? That’s something even more intriguing and a reward from backwater law enforcement is an added bonus."
If you’re looking for a new path, maybe tracking Vveva is it. Maybe you have something she’d be interested in—information, skills, or a lead on an artifact she’s hunting. You realize that if you want to get involved in her story, you’d better have more than idle questions.
After all, the galaxy is full of secrets, but the Nightsisters guard theirs more closely than most.
