Event Request Form

EiF's staff is happy to help support player events and stories. To that end, our designated Storytellers and Admins are able to use some GM commands to spawn in creatures and buildings, and do other fun things to facilitate events.

To request a player event, create a new topic and cut and paste the form below into the new topic. We will get back to you as soon as possible and let you know if the Admin is available to help you with your event! If you want help advertising your event, please write up the advertisement and submit it. Staff will work to get the word out as they are able to do so. Additionally, please make your request at least five days before the desired event date to allow for sufficient time for prep and coordination. Please also be aware that in order to avoid a monopolization of our time, Storytellers will only be supporting two events per group/player, per month.

If there is a really good reason why your event should be kept a secret from the community, cut and paste this form into a Discord DM with one of the Storytellers or the Community Manager.

PvE/RP Guidelines:

1. For this type of event we cannot give

• badges
• item or credit rewards (unless supplied by the requester)

For these kinds of events we cannot:

• Spawn MOBs or NPCs that drop loot
• Stop other players or guilds from participating

For these kinds of events we can:

• Spawn objects and non-attackable NPCs and MOBs
• Spawn Event MOBs/NPC that will not drop loot
• Send system messages
• Keep order
• Buff and Resurrect players
• Act as NPCs
• If requested, we can boost advertisements for your event by announcing on Discord, on our Facebook page, or Twitter

PvP Guidelines:
1. All above Event Guidelines still apply unless stated explicitly by EiF staff.
2. For these kinds of events we cannot give/spawn

• Faction deeds, bases, turrets, mines or any faction item that can purchased from recruiter or obtained by players.
• Credits unless they are supplied by the event requester
• Rewards unless they are supplied by the event requester
• For these kinds of events we cannot:
• Award Faction to participants.
• Turn off faction loss.
• Change the faction of participants to even out the odds.
• Resurrect participants during matches/rounds. Staff heals and buffs will only be available between rounds.

Staff reserves the right to refuse support for any player event that does not follow the above guidelines, is in violation of SWGEmu Rules and Policies, EiF Rules and Policies, or is not feasible to support with the Staff availability, tools, or in-game mechanics.
