Can't create an artisan

Hi,

I am trying to make my first character; an Artisan. However each time I try, it has the professions Medic, Bounty Hunter and Carbineer.
I must be doing something wrong, but what?

Sounds like you're picking the Bounty Hunter profession from character creation.

By default, Bounty Hunter won't start with the Artisan skill. You can either continue with your Bounty Hunter and pick up Artisan from a Skill Trainer at your closest Starport, or pick Merchant as your starting profession instead. Merchant starts with Novice Artisan and Novice Surveyor.
