Wheres a good planet for a bounty hunter to start at?

For the purposes of leveling Investigation, Corellia and Naboo are generally the way to go.

Coronet is nice at Novice Investigation because the Informant and the Mission Terminal are super close to one another. Corellia also has a lot of supplies at the two Player Cities there to help you get started and ready to take on your marks.

Later Kaadara on Naboo will be the most convenient as the Mission Terminals and the Informants are still close by, and you'll be able to run just out of town near the Informant to launch your droids.
