Adding weapons craft options

Would it be possible to add the following options when crafting weapons:

visible stock : yes /no
visible scope : yes / no
visible muzzle : yes / no

Using checkboxes to choose

This would further customize the weapons and make the process less random.

My guess is that this is a level of UI modding that isn't available to us right now...
European RPer, occasionally dabbling in crafting and stuff.

Currently active characters:

An interesting aspect of this is that the appearance of the weapon depends on how/where you view it.

E.g The vendor view does not show the correct muzzle, scope and stock. It shows the default weapon model. You don't actually know what the weapon looks like until it is in your inventory.

So if we did manage to get some customization going, we would also need to modify the vendor system to display the right customization. And that might be an even thornier issue.
