Twi'lek headgear and lekku

Post by Itikar » Fri Mar 29, 2019 10:33 pm

It's a small thing, but after having to go through the wardrobe of my characters again to check whether the lekku with the bone crest clipped through their shirts and other stuff, I wondered: would it be possible to make twi'lek headgear show the lekku position selected at chargen?

Right now each piece of headgear has a fixed lekku position, so the only way to see some lekku styles is to not wear any headgear. Worse even, those that have the lekku in a forward position, such as the bone crest, have the lekku often clip through shirts.

It's not the end of the world and it is manageable, but if it was possible it would be so much better to see twi'lek headgear show the various lekku positions instead than always the same two.

Can't. The headgear *replaces* the existing lekku and takes on their pattern/color for the object-attached lekku.

Would it at least be possible to have a version of the bone crest with lekku in the back?

The Oola npc model had something like that, apparently: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/swg ... 1209174532

That would at least give twi'lek one more non-clipping headgear in addition to the lekku wrap.

Ok, sorry for messing up the thread in the wrong section. Here is the request according to template:

Object name: twi'lek bone crest (type 2)
Object type: clothing, headgear
Filename: hat_twk_s01b_f.sat
It would be nice to have a variant of the bone crest with lekku on the back, in the same way of the lekku wrap. This because lekku in the front often clip through clothing, forcing the poor twi'lek to wear the lekku wrap as the only headgear option to avoid clipping.

Further it seems that in the movies and in a lot of extended universe material using the bone crest with lekku positioned in the back was pretty common, if not the most common practice.
